Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, in what Israeli broadcasting described as a “decisive and unusual” operation. Israeli military reinforcements stormed the city and raided Al-Ajouli Exchange Company. Several Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets and suffered from tear gas inhalation during the raid in the city center. Israeli forces arrested several Palestinians during raids on exchange offices, jewelry shops, and banks. A large number of military vehicles and soldiers participated in the raid. The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that Israel prevented ambulance crews from reaching the injured. The Red Crescent reported 18 injuries in clashes with Israeli forces in Ramallah, including a 12-year-old child. Local sources said three citizens were hit by live bullets near the vegetable market in central Ramallah, while Israeli snipers took positions on several rooftops.
Palestinian media confirmed the Israeli army stormed the Al-Manara roundabout area in central Ramallah. Local sources reported Israeli forces raided the city center, stormed an exchange office, and fired live bullets and sound bombs towards citizens. The occupation army also fired rubber bullets at a journalists’ vehicle, causing damage, and suppressed participants in the national day to recover the bodies of martyrs held by occupation authorities at the Baladna center in Al-Bireh city.
