Lebanese Minister of National Defense, Major General Michel Mansour, accompanied by senior officers of the Lebanese Army, continued his talks in Kuwait with a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. The meeting discussed the anticipated support for the Lebanese Army, particularly regarding the development of its military equipment, enhancement of military medical services, and support for the military housing system. This is part of the assistance that Kuwait has decided to provide to strengthen the stability of the Lebanese military institution.

The two sides also touched upon the strong relations between the two countries, emphasizing the keenness to expand and activate bilateral cooperation in ways that serve their common interests. Minister Mansour expressed “Lebanon’s deep gratitude to Kuwait and its leadership for the continuous support during the toughest phases,” considering that “their support constitutes a fundamental pillar in the resilience and continuity of the army.”
