Since dawn on Tuesday, 20 Palestinians including children and women have been killed in continuous Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip. The attacks intensified targeting central and southern Gaza, striking homes and tents sheltering displaced people. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital confirmed the death of a Palestinian woman and her child in an Israeli strike on a building housing displaced persons west of Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza. A Palestinian man and his wife were killed by an Israeli drone strike on a displaced persons’ tent west of Al-Nuseirat camp, according to Al-Awda Hospital. Injuries were also reported in the same camp from drone strikes. The intense bombing campaign on Gaza city continues, including the destruction of buildings in neighborhoods such as Al-Zaytoun. Al-Shifa Medical Complex reported one Palestinian killed and others injured in an Israeli strike on a residential apartment on Al-Jalaa Street in northern Gaza city.

Palestinian medical sources reported 7 killed and others injured or missing in an Israeli strike on a house in Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza city. Israeli airstrikes also targeted Al-Shati camp west of Gaza city causing injuries. A child was killed and others injured in strikes on Al-Saftawi area north of Gaza city, and injuries were reported in Al-Bureij camp. In southern Gaza, Nasser Medical Complex confirmed 6 Palestinians killed in a strike on a displaced persons’ tent in Mawassi Al-Qarara north of Khan Younis, including a man, his wife, and their three children. In northern Gaza, a medical source at Sheikh Radwan clinic confirmed a Palestinian killed and others injured by Israeli drones dropping bombs on homes in Jabalia Al-Nuzlah. Yesterday, Gaza hospitals reported 61 Palestinians killed by Israeli army fire, including 14 aid seekers and 6 journalists, among them Al Jazeera cameraman Mohammed Salameh, in a strike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

Since October 7, 2023, with US support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls and International Court of Justice orders to stop. The genocide has resulted in 62,744 Palestinian deaths, 158,259 injuries mostly women and children, over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine killing 300 Palestinians including 117 children.
