Egypt strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s targeting of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of several innocent civilians, medical teams, and journalists. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated that this attack constitutes a new link in a long chain of blatant Israeli violations of international humanitarian law. Egypt expressed strong denunciation of the deliberate targeting of journalists and medical and humanitarian workers by the occupation, rejecting the crimes of genocide committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza. Egypt called on the Security Council and the international community to fulfill their responsibilities to put an end to this dangerous approach and to intervene effectively to stop the Israeli war on Gaza.
