His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of Hail region, approved the launch of the “International Hail Innovation Hackathon” initiative aimed at promoting a culture of innovation and empowering the community and entrepreneurs to generate creative solutions that support developmental goals. During a meeting with the Deputy Governor Ali bin Salem Al Amer and the working team, His Highness reviewed the executive summary of the hackathon, which includes four tracks: traffic safety, focusing on early accident warning systems, AI-based traffic management, and accident data analysis; sustainability, concentrating on environmental solutions, pollution and waste reduction, energy efficiency, and circular economy applications; digital agriculture, offering solutions for pest detection and treatment, irrigation and harvesting system development, and marketing products via digital platforms; and tourism, enhancing eco and heritage tourism with virtual reality technologies for virtual trips and stimulating tourism experiences and museums.
The program design, accompanying events, and marketing plan were also reviewed, featuring workshops, training, idea presentations to investors, public seminars, inspiring entrepreneurial stories, a side exhibition for startups and success partners, alongside a comprehensive marketing plan.
