The unified electronic platform “Estithmar” affiliated with the National Competitiveness Center has launched 90 economic and developmental projects in cooperation with 21 government entities, enabling stakeholders to provide feedback and suggestions before their approval. The projects include the procedural guide for travel permits for Iftar during Ramadan, aiming to organize and manage the issuance of these permits at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, with the consultation period ending on September 2, 2025. The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing presented a project to amend the executive regulations for housing support to provide housing solutions aligned with Saudi family needs, open for consultation until September 4, 2025. The Ministry of Commerce proposed the executive regulations for the Precious Metals and Gemstones Law to define regulatory provisions for trading and manufacturing precious metals and gemstones, with consultation ending September 4, 2025.

The Ministry of Tourism launched a project to amend the Tourism Law to keep up with regulatory changes, improve service quality, and balance oversight and development in the tourism sector, with consultation closing on September 20, 2025. The Broadcasting Authority proposed amendments to the rules for producing and managing digital content, inviting business sectors and related entities to provide their views on amendments to articles 10, 13, and 17, with consultation ending September 20, 2025. These projects are launched via the “Estithmar” platform to enhance transparency in the legislative environment and promote a culture of consultation among the public, government entities, and private sector, involving them in drafting projects related to the business environment.
