The General Authority for Meteorology expects a continued drop in temperatures across most areas in Egypt on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The weather will be hot and humid during the day in Greater Cairo, the Delta, and northern coasts, extremely hot in South Sinai and southern Egypt, and warm and humid at night and early morning. Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, Director General of Forecasts and Early Warning at the Meteorological Authority, indicated the possibility of dense fog from 4 to 8 AM on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, Canal cities, and central Sinai. Some low clouds will appear in the morning from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, possibly causing maritime navigation disturbances on the coasts of Matrouh, Alamein, Alexandria, and Baltim, with wind speeds between 35 to 50 km/h and wave heights between 2 to 3.5 meters.

There are weak chances of light rain on the northern coasts and light thunderstorms in Halayeb and Shalateen. Temperature ranges in various cities vary from lows of 16°C to highs of 43°C.
