The General Authority for Meteorology expects a continued drop in temperatures across most of Egypt on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The weather will be hot and humid during the day in Greater Cairo, the Delta, and northern coasts, extremely hot in South Sinai and southern Egypt, and warm and humid at night and early morning. Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, Director General of Forecasts and Early Warning at the Meteorological Authority, indicated that fog, sometimes dense, is expected from 4 to 8 AM on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, Canal cities, and central Sinai. Low clouds will appear in the morning over northern areas up to Greater Cairo, possibly causing marine navigation disturbances on some coasts including Matrouh, Alamein, Alexandria, and Baltim, with wind speeds between 35 to 50 km/h and wave heights between 2 to 3.5 meters.

There are weak chances of light rain on the northern coasts and light thunderstorms over Halayeb and Shalateen. Temperatures range from lows of 16°C in Saint Catherine to highs of 43°C in Aswan, varying by region.
