The meeting included the attendance of the heads of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, the National Press Authority, and the National Media Authority. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of involving all experts and specialists from various state institutions, universities, research centers, and related fields, including psychologists and sociologists, to prepare a clear and detailed roadmap that considers the political, economic, and social dimensions of Egyptian society. The meeting also stressed the need for educational courses for media workers to ensure adherence to scientific media principles, fact-checking, and verification of data before publication or broadcast. Furthermore, the provision of accurate data from government entities is essential to prevent rumors and false news.

The media authorities present confirmed their commitment to utilizing the expertise of media cadres and involving youth and senior journalists in developing strategies to implement the presidential directives. The Prime Minister concluded by ordering the immediate start of implementing the President’s directives, ensuring that the working group includes all experts and specialists without any single entity monopolizing the roadmap development, aiming to produce media content that enhances awareness, fosters belonging, assists decision-makers, reveals facts, and refutes rumors, welcoming all opinions and ideas.
