Major General Fouad Allam, a security expert, stated that for the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, the end justifies the means to reach power, regardless of the legitimacy of the means. He emphasized that this group has moral deviations that need not be detailed, and its members are criminals outside the law with no hesitation to commit any crime to achieve power.
In his interview with journalist Aya Abdel Rahman on the program “Studio Extra” aired on Extra News channel, he said: “It is not strange to me that this group conspires with Israel or any enemy of Egypt to fulfill its ambitions, as this group has no principles. One of its leaders committed a moral crime during the call to prayer without shame.”
Regarding the last moments in the life of the Brotherhood member Sayyid Qutb, he said: “I was riding next to him in the car before moving to the place of execution. I tried, humanely, to talk to him and calm him, but he did not respond for more than half an hour until we arrived at the place of execution, the Appeal Prison. He looked at me and said, ‘My head remains, and you will get it soon,’ and the death sentence was carried out.”
On the change in the Brotherhood’s approach after Sayyid Qutb’s execution, he said: “We are talking about the same approach. All who came after him formed a secret organization alongside the global organization. The secret organization is tasked with implementing the decisions of the Brotherhood leadership, which have reached the extent of killing. Taha Al-Samawi, a member of this organization, committed several murders. As for Islam, for the Brotherhood, it is merely propaganda and a means to gain power.”
