His Excellency Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, condemned the escalation by the Israeli occupation entity of a genocidal war and horrific massacres committed against Palestinian civilians, including the systematic targeting of journalists, medical teams, and relief workers in the Gaza Strip. He also denounced the systematic starvation crime that has claimed the lives of many unarmed civilians, warning that the continuation of this escalation will lead to increased tension and threaten international security and peace.
Al-Yamahi stated that the massacres committed today by the occupation entity at the Nasser Medical Complex, broadcast live to the entire world, constitute fully-fledged war crimes and crimes against humanity. He pointed out that the occupation entity does not limit itself to brutal bombing but implements policies of immediate extermination through massacres and slow extermination by preventing food, medicine, and humanitarian aid, causing widespread famine, in one of the most heinous crimes of the modern era. He condemned the silence of the international community.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament called on the United Nations, the European Union, the International Federation of Journalists, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to assume their legal and moral responsibilities, pressure the occupation entity to stop the escalation, end the war, cease fire, and enter into a truce agreement. He affirmed that continued silence is a disgrace on the face of humanity.
Al-Yamahi also called for the immediate suspension of the occupation entity from all international organizations and unions, as it violates the principles of the international system and blatantly disregards all international laws. This requires imposing comprehensive and urgent economic, political, and military sanctions on the occupation leaders. At the same time, he demanded urgent action from the International Criminal Court regarding these crimes, which fall under the category of genocide, and the prosecution of those responsible as war criminals.
