Egypt strongly condemned Israel’s targeting of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, which resulted in the deaths of several innocent civilians, medical teams, and journalists, describing it as a new episode in a long series of blatant Israeli violations of international humanitarian law. According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Egypt expressed its strong denunciation of the Israeli occupation’s deliberate targeting of journalists and workers in the medical and humanitarian fields, and rejected the genocidal crimes committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Egypt called on the UN Security Council and the international community to assume their responsibilities to put an end to this dangerous approach and to intervene effectively to stop the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
