The General Authority for Cultural Palaces is preparing to organize an international conference titled “Cultural and Creative Industries and Their Developmental Dimensions: Sinai as a Model” at the Arish Cultural Palace in North Sinai during October 2025, coinciding with the glorious October Victory celebrations. The event is held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Heno, Minister of Culture, and in cooperation with the International Cultural Relations headed by Dr. Rania Abdel Latif. The conference aims to highlight the role of cultural and creative industries in sustainable development and community empowerment. It covers six main themes: definitions and concepts of cultural and creative industries, creative economy and sustainable development, culture as a tool for community empowerment with Sinai as a model, successful projects and experiences, legislation and public policies, and regional and international cooperation.
Participation requires original research papers between 3000 and 4000 words, with a summary and researcher’s biography, to be submitted by September 20, 2025. The conference is supervised by the Central Administration for Cultural Affairs under poet and researcher Dr. Masoud Shoman.
