As part of continuous follow-up on the execution status of works at Damanhour Private University, Dr. Elhami Trabes, President of Damanhour University and the acting manager of the private university, conducted an extensive inspection tour of the university’s headquarters in Al-Bustan district, Delengat city. This was in preparation for the start of the academic year 2025/2026, ensuring the readiness of facilities and buildings, and upgrading educational and administrative buildings to guarantee excellent educational services and provide all means of comfort and safety for students.
During his tour, Trabes inspected the buildings designated for lecture halls, study rooms, deans’ offices, program coordinators, laboratories, libraries, reading rooms, and faculty offices, emphasizing the speedy completion of all facilities.
The president confirmed that Damanhour Private University offers a distinguished set of bachelor’s degree programs in light of the remarkable educational boom in the new republic and the expansion in establishing private universities. He pointed out the university’s keenness to provide all necessary support and care for its colleges and students, stemming from its role in advancing the scientific and research system across all sectors, as well as benefiting from the university’s capabilities in knowledge transfer, expertise, and creating opportunities for constructive cooperation and partnerships.
It is noteworthy that Damanhour Private University was established by Republican Decree No. 244 of 2025. It includes faculties of Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, Computers, Information and Artificial Intelligence, Sciences, Business, Languages and Humanities, and the Faculty of Applied Arts. The study is scheduled to start this year in several bachelor’s programs, including Pharm D (Clinical Pharmacy), Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, Computing and Software Engineering, Applied Biological and Chemical Analysis, Accounting and Finance, and Business Information Systems.
