The recent statements by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, publicly made and translated by the press, align with previous remarks by him and his extremist ministers such as Ben Gvir and Smotrich. These must be taken seriously and met with immediate action by all possible means to confront this blatant aggression threatening our nation’s security.

These statements did not come from a street man, settler, released terrorist, or madman, but from a prime minister who has been in power for about twenty years and still considers himself the king of Israel and its most dedicated servant of the Zionist idea.

Hence, as Jordanians and Arabs, we must take all necessary measures, moving beyond mere condemnation, which has become ineffective, to practical initiatives involving government, people, and all political forces committed to the royal stance, with Jordan having already presented live examples.

Netanyahu is serious and relies on an extremist ideology he calls a “vision,” which he has been waiting to implement since expressing it in his book “A Place Under the Sun,” which some described as delirium or nonsense.

Since 1948, the Israeli Zionist plan has been based on expansion, occupation, uprooting Palestinians and Arabs, and expulsion, a plan Israel once concealed but now openly boasts about, especially after its war with Gaza.

It is no longer hidden; Israel talks about expansion “from the Euphrates to the Nile,” indifferent to Arab or international reactions as long as it receives Western and other allies’ support in money, weapons, political stances, and vetoes. Netanyahu practices lying as naturally as breathing, echoing Nazi propaganda minister Goebbels’ motto: “Lie, lie, and lie until you believe it yourself” or until those waiting for lies to support their views believe it.

Recently, Netanyahu surrounded himself with sanctity and spirituality, reading fortunes and palm lines, surpassing others, but his readings are backed by deadly weapons, corpses, and genocide wars. Those who believe it do, and those who don’t can see the scene on the ground and TV screens, knowing that after the black bull comes the white one. Netanyahu set spatial and temporal parameters in his vision, considering himself the envoy of this spiritual vision assigned by unseen forces, Jewish texts, and Zionist instructions to implement it.

Nazism now reigns in Israel, acting in Gaza and the West Bank, with plans to cross borders into neighboring countries. The danger lies in displacing Palestinians from their homeland, following policies of starvation, thirst, and preventing reconstruction. Those remaining are left to be killed, fight, or surrender—narrow, well-known choices.

Our problem is not with those who exaggerate; no matter how much they do, they cannot match the level of response needed against Netanyahu and his government. Our problem is with hypocrites and those who downplay Israeli statements, treat them lightly, trivialize them, or describe them as nonsense or unserious, which is acceptable only if regional preparations matched the threats and responses.

If Trump makes statements shaking global stability and affecting countries’ security but is not taken seriously, when Russian Vice President Medvedev threatened in response to US policies targeting Russia, Trump immediately deployed nuclear submarines and did not bury his head in the sand.

Arab peoples are alert to the dangers of Netanyahu’s vision and projects, especially in Jordan and Egypt, which are primary targets and whose opposing stances to Israeli plans are being distorted. These stances must inspire other Arab positions in serious efforts, as done by His Majesty the King, especially in his Arab meetings, most recently with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Neom.

Arab peoples targeted by Netanyahu’s vision must be vigilant against all forms of Israeli actions accompanying and paving the way for the plan. Preparedness must rise on all fronts and high levels to ensure positions become alive and firm. The coming clash will not resemble the eve of June 5, 1967, when armies fought and peoples awaited defeat, but a peoples’ war defending their homelands. These homelands have their indigenous people from dawn of history who will not allow a passing wave like the Zionist wave to settle in their lands and must repel it as they have repelled all invasions before, from Romans, Persians, Franks, Turks, English, French, and others, until the Zionist movement came, which will not last on this land after the crimes committed in the genocide war.

Peoples realized these are existential wars, and Israel is a warlike entity, acting as such, and the response must be prepared: “And prepare against them whatever you are able.” The Gaza model is not far, even if some differ on its motives. Israel’s ongoing criminal aggression creates the nature of resistance reactions.

Our problem is with those who downplay; as for exaggerators, our actions suffice to respond to them. Jordan has leadership and people who know what they say and do, and we all stand behind our wise leadership that will not accept anyone who downplays or embarrasses its efforts or discourages determination under various pretexts.

Did we not study that on the day of the conquest of Amoria, there were those in Al-Mu’tasim’s council who weakened and excused themselves by the summer sea and difficulty of work, relying on fortune readings? The poet Abu Tammam responded famously: “The sword is truer news than books,” and Amoria happened, and the Arab spirit we still pride ourselves on will come again despite the merciless history that records it.
