Today, Major General Ibrahim Abu Lemon, Governor of Monufia, chaired an extensive meeting to follow up on the implementation of the recent directives of the Governors’ Council under the chairmanship of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister. The meeting was attended by several officials including the Secretary-General and the Assistant Secretary-General. The governor began by discussing the executive procedures and necessary steps to apply Law No. 164 of 2025 regarding certain provisions related to rental laws and reorganizing the relationship between landlords and tenants. He directed the formation of specialized committees in full coordination with all concerned authorities to implement these decisions according to the standards and procedures approved by the Cabinet.
The meeting also emphasized the continuous follow-up on the 27th wave of removing encroachments on state-owned lands and agricultural lands, stressing the need to overcome work obstacles promptly and provide all logistical support to achieve the targets, with full coordination to prevent the return of encroachments for the public interest.
