Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmoni, Governor of Al-Sharqia, met with 10 citizens from the most vulnerable families and persons with disabilities from various centers, cities, and villages of the governorate to listen to their problems directly and provide necessary solutions in coordination with all concerned authorities. The meeting was held in the main office’s conference hall as part of his keenness to communicate directly with citizens and understand their needs.
The meeting was attended by Engineer Lubna Abdel Aziz, Deputy Governor, Major General Abdel Ghafar Al-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate, and representatives from the Ministries of Health, Social Solidarity, Labor, Deputy Director of the Al-Sharqia branch of Health Insurance, Executive Affairs Coordinator at the Directorate of Education, and Director of Citizen Service at the Governorate’s main office.
During the meeting, the Governor tasked the directors of service directorates and ministry deputies to provide the necessary services and respond to requests within the legal framework to help citizens bear the burdens of life and alleviate their suffering.
The meeting included presenting citizens’ requests such as suitable private sector jobs, Takaful and Karama pensions, suitable housing, treatment, and urgent and monthly assistance from centers including Zagazig, Belbeis, San Al-Hagar, Faqous, and Manshiyat Abu Omar. After reviewing and examining these requests by the concerned authorities, the Governor decided to provide 10 private sector job opportunities according to health and social conditions, expedite the issuance of Takaful and Karama visas and integrated service cards for eligible cases after registration in the system.
Urgent and monthly assistance will be provided for six cases for periods ranging from 4 to 6 months according to social research, treatment at the state’s expense for three cases, and a housing survey for one case to explore the possibility of providing suitable housing.
It is worth noting that citizens wishing to meet Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmoni, Governor of Al-Sharqia, within the public meeting should submit an official request at the Citizen Service Office at the main office, detailing the reasons and documents for the meeting. Meetings will be scheduled on Mondays according to the date of application.
