The current gold prices in Egypt are as follows: 24-karat gold price: 5183 EGP per gram, 21-karat gold price: 4535 EGP per gram, 18-karat gold price: 3887 EGP per gram, 14-karat gold price: 3023 EGP per gram, and the gold pound price today is 36,280 EGP. The 21-karat gold price is the most traded in the Egyptian market. The global gold price recovered during today’s trading after falling to its lowest level in two weeks, amid market anticipation of the meeting between the US and Ukrainian presidents today and preparations for the Federal Reserve chairman’s speech this week. Local gold opened trading today higher but generally remains volatile without a clear trend due to changes in the global gold price and the impact of the local exchange rate decline.
Global gold managed to recover after facing strong support around 3330-3335 USD per ounce, representing the 50-day moving average, rebounding above this area to return to the 3350 USD per ounce level.
