Schneider Electric, a company operating in energy management and digital transformation, announced a set of initiatives to support the electric mobility sector in Saudi Arabia. These included new products, strategic partnerships, and local training programs, as part of its commitment to support the objectives of Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s sustainability goals.
The company revealed the launch of new electric vehicle charging stations, including the EVlink Pro DC 60 kW fast charger compatible with Saudi standards and suitable for commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure, in addition to the Schneider Charge Pro for medium charging (Level 2 AC) for residential and commercial buildings. These products aim to meet local market needs and bolster the Kingdom’s readiness to reach the target of 30 percent of Riyadh’s cars being electric by 2030.
The company confirmed that it is among the first firms to obtain approval from the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) for its e-mobility solutions, reflecting its commitment to safety and performance. It also qualified more than 30 local partners through the EcoXpert Partner Program, providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary to design, install, and maintain charging systems, supporting the localization of technical expertise in this vital sector.
Mohammad Naji, Vice President for the Residential & Distribution sector in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Yemen and Bahrain, said: “Enabling local capabilities is the core of our strategy. We do not settle for offering global solutions only; we build an integrated local ecosystem that will lead the future of electric mobility in the Kingdom. With more than 100 specialists and a wide network of partners, we are establishing a strong infrastructure that supports the targets of Vision 2030.”
Schneider Electric won the “Leadership in EV Charging Technology in Saudi Arabia 2025” award from the Solarabic platform during the SunRise Arabia clean energy conference, in recognition of its leading role in developing renewable energy and e-mobility infrastructure.
The company is preparing to launch the Schneider Electric Innovation Summit in Riyadh on September 24–25, under the theme “Building a Sustainable Future for Saudi Arabia”, with the participation of more than 2,000 representatives from the public and private sectors. The summit will address key themes including EV solutions, smart buildings, resilient infrastructure, digital industries, and AI data centers, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s role in leading the transition to a more sustainable economy.
