MP Taysir Matar, head of the Eradat Geel Party, Senate Industry Committee deputy, and secretary-general of the Egyptian Parties Alliance composed of 42 political parties, announced that the alliance’s executive council will hold an important meeting in the coming days to discuss mechanisms and the strategy for the alliance’s participation in the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

Matar explained that the meeting agenda includes a careful study of several proposed alternatives, foremost among them submitting a unified electoral list that includes all alliance parties, or contesting the elections through individual seats distributed across the governorates of the Republic, or other options. He noted that the primary objective is to ensure strong representation for the alliance in the next parliament, reflecting the political and intellectual diversity within it.

The head of the Eradat Geel Party added that the coming phase requires high-level coordination among all forces under the alliance’s banner, especially given the expected competition for parliamentary seats. He emphasized the commitment to presenting candidates capable of serving citizens and representing them effectively, alongside supporting the state’s efforts to continue construction and development.

Matar pointed out that the alliance previously ran in the last Senate elections with 51 candidates, reflecting the alliance’s internal cohesion and organization, and said this success will serve as an important base for moving toward the House of Representatives elections.

He also noted that the alliance already has a presence in certain individual districts, with prominent candidates—one from the Independents Party in Gharbia governorate and another from the Eradat Geel Party in Luxor governorate—adding that this experience will be evaluated to benefit the expansion of electoral participation in the upcoming vote.

Matar stressed that the alliance will continue to work in a spirit of unity, fully adhering to constitutional and legal rules, in order to strengthen political life and consolidate genuine democracy in Egypt.
