A state of sorrow prevailed in the village of Al-Maqrabiyah, affiliated with Qus Center, south of Qena, after the death of one of its residents inside a mosque due to an electric shock while repairing a water leak. The deceased, Sobhi Abdoun, was a frequent visitor and one of the mosque’s caretakers. Necessary procedures were taken and he was buried amid mourning. Separately, a worker was injured today, Saturday, after falling during work in an industrial area in Nag Hammadi Center, north of Qena. Security authorities received a report from the Qena ambulance service about the injury of a worker who fell on an iron rod while working. The injured was transferred to the hospital, and an investigation was opened to clarify the circumstances.
