The price of iron in Egypt stabilized on Friday, August 15, 2025, ranging between 38,000 and 40,000 Egyptian pounds per ton, with prices remaining steady among companies and distributors after a recent increase. The factory price ranged from 38,000 to 38,500 EGP per ton, reaching consumers with an increase of about 1,000 EGP depending on the governorate and the type of company. Prices for Ezz Steel were 38,800 EGP and for Beshay Steel 38,600 EGP. Iron is one of the most important raw materials used in construction, relied upon in many urban projects.
