The Faculty of Agriculture at Alexandria University is one of the oldest and most prestigious faculties that has graduated many diverse batches over the past years. After the announcement of the first phase results of the general secondary school coordination, the time comes to choose departments in faculties. “Youm7” publishes details of the 40 specialized programs at the Faculty of Agriculture in Shatby, Alexandria University.

The Faculty of Agriculture grants 19 bachelor’s degrees in general departments in Arabic in the following programs and specializations (with regular fees for public universities): agricultural sciences programs (science stream only) in the departments of forestry and wood technology (the only department in Egyptian universities), vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants and garden design, fruits, crops, animal and fish production, poultry production, dairy technology, food industries, plant diseases, economic insects, chemistry and pesticide technology, agricultural extension, agricultural economics, home economics, rural community, biotechnology, soils and water, and the agricultural engineering program (math stream only) agricultural engineering.

The faculty grants 21 bachelor’s degrees from new and specialized programs with fees (about 20,000 EGP for two semesters) in Arabic, English, and French as follows:

Agricultural sciences programs in English (science stream only):
1. Forestry and wood technology (the only department at the level of Egyptian universities)

20. Agricultural engineering program in English (math stream only)
21. Site and garden design program (joint program with the Faculty of Fine Arts) in Arabic (science and math streams), which is the only program at the level of Egyptian and Arab universities.
