Israeli occupation aircraft targeted residential areas in Gaza City and tents of displaced persons in Khan Younis early Tuesday, resulting in martyrs, following a day marked by new massacres with dozens of starving victims.

Palestinian sources reported the martyrdom of 4 people after an airstrike targeted a house near Al-Farouq Mosque in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City early Tuesday.

Activists circulated a video of a father calling the civil defense to rescue his children from the targeted house.

Another video showed the transfer of martyrs and injured people to the hospital.

In addition to Al-Zaytoun, the eastern and southern areas of Gaza City were again subjected to aerial and artillery shelling.

Palestinian sources also said that the occupation forces carried out new demolition operations of houses east and south of the city early Tuesday.

Shelling has recently escalated in Gaza neighborhoods such as Al-Zaytoun and Al-Tuffah, while the Israeli government talks about an upcoming military operation to fully invade Gaza City.

In simultaneous field developments, occupation aircraft carried out intensive airstrikes early Tuesday on Khan Younis city and its surroundings in the southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media reported the martyrdom of 5 people early Tuesday due to Israeli drone strikes targeting displaced persons’ tents in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.

The central and northern neighborhoods of the city were also subjected to airstrikes accompanied by artillery shelling, according to the same sources.

Simultaneously, occupation forces carried out demolition operations of buildings north of Khan Younis.

In the central Gaza Strip, the western and northern outskirts of the Al-Nuseirat camp were subjected to aerial and artillery shelling.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 45 people were martyred on Monday by occupation forces’ fire, including 16 starving people seeking food at aid centers in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” took control of aid distribution in May, more than 1800 Palestinians have been martyred by occupation forces and foreign armed contractors at distribution centers that have turned into “death traps,” according to Palestinian and international organizations.

Since the resumption of the aggression on Gaza in March, about 10,000 people have been martyred and more than 45,000 injured, according to the latest data from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
