The Alexandria Health Directorate, headed by Dr. Mohamed Badran, Deputy Minister of Health in Alexandria, is organizing a free medical convoy on August 12-13 at the Dekheila Unit in Al-Agami district. This is part of a series of comprehensive medical convoys throughout August aimed at providing free medical services in the most needy areas. Alexandria Governor Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said confirmed the continuation of these convoys across districts during August, instructing district heads to coordinate with service directorates to intensify convoys and increase awareness campaigns. These efforts align with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to expand the social protection umbrella and prioritize health to ensure a decent life for citizens.
The Health Directorate, in cooperation with relevant authorities, will conduct four medical convoys in August at various locations including Abdel Baset Unit in Borg El Arab, Dekheila Unit in Al-Agami, Banjar 4 Unit in Borg El Arab, and Abdel Qader Unit in Al-Amiriya district. These initiatives are part of the state’s plan to facilitate access to free medical services and achieve health justice for all citizens.
