Zain Jordan and the Jordanian E-Sports Federation have renewed their strategic cooperation agreement to continue supporting and enhancing the e-sports and gaming sector in the kingdom. The agreement was signed at Zain Jordan’s headquarters in the presence of His Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal, President of the Jordanian E-Sports Federation. The agreement stipulates that Zain, through its e-sports center “Zain eSports Jo,” will continue to support the federation, sponsor its specialized activities and events in electronic games and sports, organize tournaments in cooperation with the federation, and support players and national teams representing Jordan in various forums. Zain emphasized the importance of the e-sports sector as a promising field full of opportunities and a vital path for youth, contributing to youth empowerment and opening new opportunities, as well as supporting the national economy.
Zain established its e-sports center in 2020, which has become a key destination for e-sports enthusiasts and professionals, providing exceptional services and high-speed, stable internet that offers an ideal infrastructure for e-sports across the kingdom. Since the beginning of this year, Zain’s e-sports center, in cooperation with the federation, has organized several events that attracted about 10,000 participants and garnered millions of views on official social media pages. Both parties will continue their cooperation to further develop the sector and empower promising Jordanian youth and talents.
