The “Bridge” delegation arrived in the South Korean capital, Seoul, marking the third stop of its Asian tour which included Shanghai, China, and Osaka, Japan. This is part of the preparations for the “Bridge Summit 2025” scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from December 8 to 10, gathering elite media, cultural, artistic content creators, and decision-makers from around the world.

The delegation was headed by Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE Media Council and Head of the National Media Office, accompanied by Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, Director General of the National Media Office, and several other figures. The “Bridge” tour included a series of meetings with representatives of Korean companies specialized in media, digital industries, creative technology, animation, film production, and content creation.

The delegation met with Kim Tae Kyun, First Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Seoul, in the presence of the UAE Ambassador to South Korea, Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi. The meeting discussed ways to build long-term partnerships supporting the mission of the “Bridge Summit” to gather specialists in creative media industries worldwide and enhance impactful international solutions.

The visit included meetings with representatives of various Korean companies, presenting the strategic importance of the “Bridge” summit and its role in promoting international dialogue and shaping the future of global media. The delegation invited Korean companies to attend and participate in the summit’s activities in December.

Abdullah Al Hamed affirmed that the UAE is continuing to establish itself as a global platform for media cooperation and building qualitative partnerships with friendly countries. He noted that the “Bridge” tour in Seoul holds special importance as it is held in one of the most advanced countries in creative industries and digital media.

He said, “The Bridge Summit seeks to enhance the capabilities of media institutions to develop proactive policies and strategies that improve their readiness to deal with rapid changes in the media landscape, serving their goals of providing purposeful and responsible content.”

Through “Bridge,” the UAE aims to solidify its position as a key center in global media, technology, and creative industries. The “Bridge Summit 2025” in Abu Dhabi will gather leaders in media, artificial intelligence, technology, digital culture, and entertainment from around the world to explore transformation and investment opportunities and enhance cooperation between the UAE and the global creative community. By supporting these key sectors, “Bridge” aims to strengthen its role as a platform to open practical pathways reshaping the future of media, technology, and communication globally.
