The American news network CNN praised the number of countries participating in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, noting that leaders from more than 20 countries attended the summit, where President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, US President Donald Trump, and other world leaders signed a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

According to a list obtained by CNN from a White House official, “the summit attracted participation from key global and regional entities, including the Secretary-General of the Arab League, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the European Union, and other major countries.”

The American network pointed out that “during his speech, President Trump praised the large turnout, calling out the names of world leaders and senior diplomats among the attendees.”

The network commended the attendance, stating that the list included “Egypt, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Canada, Cyprus, the European Union, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, the Palestinian Authority, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.”
