MP Mohamed El-Badawy, a member of the Senate, affirmed that the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, held with the participation of more than thirty world leaders and heads of state, represents a historic turning point in the Middle East’s trajectory. It reaffirms once again that Egypt is the beating heart of the region, its stability hub, and the authoritative voice shaping its future.

El-Badawy stated that the unprecedented gathering of this number of leaders on Egyptian soil sends a clear message confirming Egypt’s pivotal role in leading major regional transformations and consolidating the concept of security based on dialogue and rationality after years of conflicts.

He added that Egypt today has become the platform from which the voice of stability is projected to the entire world, noting that Egyptian policy is proceeding with confident and balanced steps that redraw the region’s features to achieve the interests of the peoples and preserve their dignity.

He emphasized that the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit marks the beginning of a new phase in the history of the Middle East, titled: “Peace built on equality and respect, not on subordination and defeat,” stressing that the Egyptian leadership continues its historic role in building a more stable and just future, based on deep political awareness and a firm belief in Egypt’s regional and international role.
