The “Bilaraby” initiative, affiliated with Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, announced the opening of applications for the second edition of its annual forum in Doha, Qatar, scheduled for 2026. This follows the success of the first edition, which established the forum as a leading platform for showcasing pioneering and innovative ideas.
The forum represents the largest event organized by the “Bilaraby” initiative, providing participants the opportunity to present new ideas and visions centered on culture and innovation, reflecting the aspirations of Arabic-speaking communities and linking innovation with cultural heritage to build a more sustainable and prosperous future.
The forum includes panel discussions, workshops, and dedicated spaces for partners and speakers, offering an open environment for knowledge exchange and enhancing cultural and creative communication.
Those interested in applying as speakers for the 2026 “Bilaraby” forum in Doha can fill out the online form, attaching a brief CV and a summary of their proposed idea, submitted via the website https://bilaraby.qa/ar. Proposed ideas must carry knowledge or innovative value capable of inspiring the community. The deadline for submissions is November 6, 2025.
Speakers enjoy unique opportunities including wide exposure of their ideas, participation in regional events, benefiting from public speaking training programs, building collaboration networks with institutions supporting creative ideas, and joining the growing “Bilaraby” community.
The initiative also invites institutions and companies to join the list of partners and sponsors, enabling them to contribute to supporting the forum, expanding its societal and cultural impact, and reaching a broad audience interested in innovation and intellectual and social leadership.
Habis Hwail, Director of Government Partnerships at the CEO Office of Qatar Foundation, affirmed that the “Bilaraby” forum extends Qatar Foundation’s leading role in launching initiatives that elevate the ideas of Arabic-speaking communities, aligning with its mission to empower individuals and unleash their potential through education and innovation.
He added that the inaugural edition proved that investing in cultural dialogue platforms creates opportunities for cross-border communication and gives creative ideas a chance to grow and influence. Preparations for the 2026 session are underway with strong belief that this forum will be bigger and more inclusive, bringing together innovators and supporters to build new partnerships and provide sustainable solutions serving our communities.
Hesham Noreen, Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives and Programs at Qatar Foundation, stated that the “Bilaraby” forum represents a broad space for ideas that go beyond the conventional and gives new generations of creators a platform to express themselves in their mother tongue.
The first edition marked a remarkable success, receiving 700 ideas from various Arab countries, selecting a distinguished group of speakers from leading initiatives, and gathering over 800 participants. The event provided a wide space for sharing inspiring stories and diverse experiences reflecting the richness of the contemporary Arab experience, focusing its sessions and interactive activities on exploring new horizons for cultural and intellectual communication among different Arab communities.
During the two days of the event, attendees participated in interactive activities including dialogue platforms, live storytelling spaces, and presentations of scientific and artistic initiatives. The diverse attendance from across the Arab world reflected the summit’s essence, providing a unique opportunity to exchange visions and enhance the Arab presence in the global knowledge scene.
