The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children has launched “Malath,” an intelligent platform dedicated to supporting victims of violence including women, children, and even men. This initiative was developed in collaboration with a specialized center in Canada, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to leading humanitarian and technological initiatives that enhance quality of life and protect individuals, supporting Dubai Government’s digital initiative.

Sheikha Saeed Al Mansoori, Acting Director General of the Foundation, explained at GITEX Global 2025 that the platform is a self-guided intelligent tool built on professional and ethical foundations. It aims to assist individuals exposed to violence or threats through a secure and confidential tool that respects the highest privacy standards, especially for women and vulnerable groups who may feel embarrassed or afraid to disclose their experiences.

She added that the platform relies on artificial intelligence by providing interactive questionnaires designed by specialists from the Foundation in cooperation with a certified psychological counseling center in Canada. The questions assess the victim’s risk level, then the system designs customized psychological support and rehabilitation programs to help the victim self-treat and overcome the experience without direct disclosure or confrontation with any human element, avoiding embarrassment or threat.

The AI also provides tailored rehabilitation and guidance programs according to the victim’s needs. The platform is designed to handle moderate and severe cases, and if a high-risk level is detected, the case is referred to the competent authority in the victim’s country for swift action.

The platform collects statistics and data while fully preserving privacy, encouraging victims to use it. These data help improve and develop services continuously.

Additionally, the Foundation launched an upgraded version of the intelligent case management system during GITEX Global 2025, aiming to support Dubai’s social agenda and enhance service efficiency for women and children under its care, aligning with the digital transformation in social work.

Sheikha Al Mansoori said the new system represents a qualitative leap in case management mechanisms within the Foundation. It uses specialized smart forms to help case managers and legal researchers collect and analyze data more accurately and professionally, enabling well-studied professional interventions that meet beneficiaries’ needs.

The upgraded system provides a smart and secure data archiving system ensuring the highest privacy and confidentiality standards. It can issue real-time interactive reports to help senior management evaluate performance and monitor quality indicators continuously, enhancing decision-making speed and enabling service development based on real and updated data.

The new system is an integrated platform for managing information related to cases handled by the Foundation. It offers predictive analytics to monitor behavioral patterns and potential risks early, supporting preventive intervention and maintaining family and community stability.

She confirmed that the upgraded system is a new step towards achieving the Foundation’s vision to be a leading model in protecting and supporting the most vulnerable groups, providing a smart digital environment that contributes to building a safer and fairer future for all community members.
