A Ukrainian drone attack ignited a fire at a large oil depot in the Crimea Peninsula, which Russia annexed, according to the Russian news agency TASS.
TASS quoted Crimea leader Sergey Aksyonov saying the drone hit the facility in the city of Feodosia on Sunday night, causing the fire. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Reports stated that more than 20 drones were shot down over Crimea. On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said it intercepted 37 drones over multiple Russian regions, the Black Sea, and the Sea of Azov. The same depot was previously damaged last year by a Ukrainian drone attack.
Ukraine has repeatedly targeted fuel facilities behind the front lines as part of its strategy to disrupt Russian supply chains. Russia has also attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles.
On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia launched over 3,100 drones, 92 missiles, and about 1,360 glide bombs against Ukraine in the past week alone.
Russia has been waging war on Ukraine for more than three and a half years.
