Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the return of detainees to Israel is a historic event, according to Al-Qahira News Channel breaking news.
He added, “There are significant security challenges ahead of us.”
Netanyahu also stated, “We have achieved great victories and the war is not over.”
On another note, a source from Hamas said the movement has completed the count of living detainees and distributed them to points inside the Gaza Strip in preparation for their handover.
The source added, according to AFP, that delegations from the resistance and the Red Cross will meet tonight to agree on a mechanism for handing over the Israeli detainees, and that the handover will take place through three different axes in the Gaza Strip.
