Shorouk Wagdy, correspondent for Al Kahera News from Sharm El Sheikh, stated that the world’s attention is focused on the City of Peace, Sharm El Sheikh, where the Peace Summit will be held tomorrow with the participation of leaders from more than 20 countries, co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Wagdy added during a live interview with journalist Aya Lotfy on the program “Malaf Al-Youm” aired on Al Kahera News channel, that Egypt, with its long-standing diplomatic voice, is hosting an exceptional and historic event on the land of the Nile to open a new page of hope and close a long chapter of conflict and suffering in the Middle East, especially regarding the Palestinian cause and the Gaza Strip.

She pointed out that logistical and security preparations are underway in Sharm El Sheikh with high-level arrangements to ensure the success of this major event, confirming that the summit’s convening was not by chance but the result of diligent efforts over two years to end the war in Gaza and achieve a lasting truce.

The Al Kahera News correspondent confirmed that the summit takes place amid escalating regional crises, with Egypt re-emerging as an effective diplomatic power combining political realism and humanitarian dimension, under leadership that believes peace is not a tactical option but a strategic one.

She explained that the Egyptian presidency announced today the list of countries and leaders who confirmed their participation in the summit, scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, noting that this broad international participation reflects confidence in Egypt’s role and its ability to lead peace efforts in the region.
