Sayed Abdel Aal, head of the Al-Tajammu Party, commented on the President’s decree No. 575 of 2025, recently published in the official gazette, appointing him as a member of the Senate, expressing his gratitude to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the appointment.
In statements to “Al-Shorouk,” the party leader said that the clear diversity in the list of Senate appointees confirms the president’s keenness to enrich parliamentary life and enhance the participation of all political currents in decision-making.
He added that appointing leaders from diverse political and intellectual backgrounds within the parliament consolidates the principle of effective pluralism and affirms the pivotal role played by the Senate as the second parliamentary chamber alongside the House of Representatives in elevating legislative performance and deeply studying important laws.
He emphasized that this contributes to strengthening the foundations of democracy, supports political stability, and gives hope for advancing political and party life to a more developed stage, in line with the aspirations of the entire Egyptian people, who look forward to completing the mission of building the new republic on solid civil and democratic foundations.
