United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres will participate next Monday in an international summit on Gaza in Egypt, chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his American counterpart Donald Trump, according to his office.

The spokesperson for his office said that Guterres “will travel to Egypt to attend the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit on Monday,” noting that he will return to the UN headquarters on Wednesday.
