An official source told Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath channel that the tragic accident involving the Qatari delegation near Sharm El-Sheikh resulted in the death of 3 members of the Qatari delegation and injuries to three others.

The source added that “the delegation’s vehicle was involved in a traffic accident due to a steering wheel malfunction,” noting that 3 people were injured, including the Egyptian driver.

Another official source told Al-Hadath that the three injured are two members of the delegation and their Egyptian driver, pointing out that two of the injured are in unstable condition.

Meanwhile, sources told Al-Hadath that the bodies of the Qatari diplomats were transferred to Sharm El-Sheikh Hospital.

Media personality Amr Adib revealed that a tragic traffic accident occurred involving a car carrying members of the Qatari delegation on a road about fifty kilometers from Sharm El-Sheikh city.

He explained during his program “Al-Hekaya” broadcast on MBC Egypt that initial reports from the accident site indicate the death of three members of the delegation, while three others were taken to the hospital and are in intensive care.

He added that the painful accident was caused by the overturning of the car carrying the delegation members, confirming that the initial toll is three dead and three injured.
