France 24 highlighted the statements of the US President who thanked Egypt and President El-Sisi for their efforts in reaching the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

The channel also showed the US President’s optimism that the ceasefire agreement would lead to lasting peace in the Middle East. It emphasized Trump’s assurance that no one from Gaza’s population would be forcibly removed, describing this statement as a victory for the Egyptian vision which early on rejected the evacuation of Palestinians from the Strip, considering it displacement.

The report mentioned that President El-Sisi invited the US President to participate in the celebrations marking the signing of the first phase of the ceasefire, an invitation warmly accepted by the US President.

France 24 pointed to the difficulties that might face the process of locating and retrieving the bodies of fallen Israeli soldiers, expressing optimism about overcoming difficult issues in the next phases of the peace agreement.
