A recent study conducted by Tsukuba University in Japan found that people who regularly change jobs are more prone to headaches, fatigue, and insomnia compared to those who remain in a stable work environment. The study included over 20,000 employees and concluded that career transitions increase stress levels due to changes in routine, unclear expectations, and the frequent need to adapt to new colleagues and different organizational cultures.
The researchers explained that the physical and psychological pressures resulting from new work environments can affect sleep quality, hormone balance, and lead to chronic concentration difficulties. The study recommended that companies adopt psychological support programs and managerial training to help employees adjust to their new environments and reduce symptoms associated with job-related stress. The report also emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle, balanced nutrition, and exercise as effective means to reduce mental strain accompanying career changes.
