Three diplomats from the Qatari delegation present in Sharm El-Sheikh to participate in an international summit to stop the war in the Gaza Strip died in a tragic traffic accident. The diplomats were Hassan Jaber Al Jaber, Abdullah Ghanem Al Khairin, and Saud bin Thamer Al Thani.

The accident occurred on the international road in South Sinai, 50 kilometers before reaching the tourist city, when the official car carrying the delegation overturned, resulting in the immediate death of the three diplomats and serious injuries to two others.

The Egyptian presidency announced the holding of an international summit titled “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit” next Monday, co-chaired by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and former U.S. President Donald Trump, with the participation of leaders from more than 20 countries.

The Egyptian presidency confirmed that the summit aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, promote efforts to establish peace and stability in the Middle East, and open a new chapter of regional security and stability.

The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency indicated that the summit is held in light of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s vision to achieve peace in the region and his earnest efforts to end conflicts worldwide.
