The Journalists’ Syndicate, headed by MP Dr. Tarek Saada, Syndicate President and Senate member, continues to approve registration and permit committees for journalists working in various fields of the media sector. This is part of its periodic plan aimed at organizing and regulating the media scene in official and private media outlets, both visual and audio, within the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The syndicate confirmed that all newly accredited journalists, whether through registration or permits, are committed to the Media Code of Ethics and the Professional Conduct Code, as these serve as the primary reference and fundamental standard for journalists’ performance in their profession.

The syndicate also emphasized that it is the sole authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt authorized to grant the title of “Journalist,” warning against the use of this title by any entity or individual without obtaining official approval and accreditation from it.

In the same context, the syndicate confirms its full readiness to cooperate with official Egyptian institutions through official inquiries about any person claiming the status of a journalist, to preserve the profession and protect it from any violations.
