Hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinian citizens continue today, Saturday, to return to their homes and residences in Gaza City despite the destruction the city has suffered.
The Palestinian Al-Aqsa channel reported that “thousands of those displaced to the southern Gaza Strip flowed for the second consecutive day through Salah al-Din and Al-Rashid streets, which the occupation army withdrew from after the ceasefire agreement came into effect yesterday afternoon.”
The same channel indicated that “with the start of the occupation forces’ withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the unprecedented scale of destruction in infrastructure and residential homes, especially in Gaza City, is revealed.”
US President Donald Trump announced on September 29 what he called a “peace plan” consisting of 20 articles.
After indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel delegations, under American, Egyptian, and Qatari sponsorship, an agreement was announced early the day before yesterday, Thursday, in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, regarding the first phase of Trump’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip.
