The Civil Defense in Gaza Strip announced the arrival of 300,000 people to Gaza City since the ceasefire began in the area.
The Civil Defense stated: “There are no tents or houses available to shelter those returning northwards.”
Approximately 700,000 people were displaced from Gaza City and northern Gaza due to the Israeli offensive, which included intensive airstrikes and the entry of Israeli army forces into several areas.
Civil Defense teams are conducting rescue and relief operations in the area and have recovered the bodies of 150 Palestinians during the operation.
The Civil Defense noted receiving 75 distress calls since dawn Saturday and called on the Red Cross to coordinate with Israel to help locate the missing, due to the lack of equipment needed to retrieve all the bodies of the deceased.
