US President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire agreement in Gaza represents a great deal for Israel, Arabs, Muslims, and the entire world.
Trump confirmed that the agreement is a decisive step towards ending the war and beginning a new phase of reconstruction and peace in the Middle East. He stated from Washington that the hostages will return next Monday.
He pointed out that efforts are not limited to the living but also include recovering about 28 bodies from underground in Gaza, describing the operation as difficult and horrific, but ongoing with seriousness and the participation of multiple parties.
The US president added: Gaza will be rebuilt, and wealthy countries have expressed readiness to participate in the reconstruction process. A peace council will also be established, and I was asked to be its honorary chairman.
Trump explained that the agreement enjoys broad international support, confirming that Russian President Vladimir Putin strongly supported the agreement, and that the international community is tired of fighting and wants to end destruction and suffering.
He noted that Hamas lost about 58,000 fighters during the war, considering that the time has come for peace, not confrontation, adding: this deal is good for everyone… Israelis, Arabs, and the entire world.
Trump revealed that he intends to visit Israel soon, where he will deliver a speech before the Israeli Knesset, and he will also visit Egypt to participate in events related to the reconstruction plan, explaining that many regional and international leaders will attend these meetings.
Trump concluded his statements by emphasizing that peace will not be limited to Gaza only but will include the entire Middle East region, adding confidently: I believe this agreement will hold because everyone is tired of war and wants to move toward a better future.
