Ahmed El Sharkawy, Secretary-General of the National Front Party in Gharbia Governorate, affirmed that the great humanitarian scene represented by the entry of aid and the beginning of the return of displaced persons reflects Egypt’s historic and steadfast role in supporting the Palestinian cause, embodying the success of the political and humanitarian efforts led by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi since the very first moment of the crisis.

El Sharkawy pointed out that the continuous movements by the Egyptian state in all political, diplomatic, and humanitarian directions confirm that Egypt has been and will remain the gateway to peace and holds honorable positions towards its Arab brothers, foremost among them the steadfast Palestinian people.

He added that Egypt, with its wise leadership, has proven that it does not seek slogans but works quietly, humanely, and persistently to preserve human dignity and restore security and stability to the region, praising the efforts of the armed forces and relevant agencies in organizing and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid through the Rafah crossing.

El Sharkawy concluded his statement by affirming that history will record that Egypt, led by President Sisi, has been and remains the beating heart of the Arab nation, defending justice and acting with a spirit of responsibility and humanity in the toughest circumstances.
