Dr. Essam Khalil, leader of the Free Egyptians Party, praised Egypt’s high-level diplomatic and strategic performance in handling the Palestinian crisis and ending the war on the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that “Egypt always has a date with October.”

He stressed in televised remarks on the program “Al Hayat Al Youm” that “history will stand long before the presidential diplomacy of skilled professionalism led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his supporting team to achieve this agreement, just as it stopped before the crossing and breaking of the Bar Lev Line with the simplest means and water.”

He explained that the greatness of this achievement lies in its critical timing, which came at a time “when everyone felt there was no hope and the region was on the brink of war.”

He added that what happened represents a victory for “the presidential diplomacy of President El-Sisi with his insightful vision,” which proved that “the language of peace is much stronger than the language of weapons.”

He pointed out that this success was achieved despite all the conspiracies plotted against Egypt, affirming that the Egyptian voice led by President El-Sisi was “the only voice” that stood from the early hours of the crisis to say “no to the displacement of Palestinians.”

He praised the insightful vision of President El-Sisi and his supporting team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Intelligence Service, affirming that President El-Sisi is “a skilled captain who steered the ship at this time.”

He mentioned that this performance strengthens confidence in the political leadership and calls for more solidarity behind it, citing President El-Sisi’s words from years ago that “Egypt is not the mother of the world but will be equal to the world,” commenting: “Today I can truly say that Egypt is step by step equal to the world.”

On the early morning of Thursday, September 9, an agreement was announced in Sharm El-Sheikh on the first phase of the Trump peace plan for the Gaza Strip, following indirect negotiations between delegations of Hamas and Israel, under Egyptian, American, and Qatari sponsorship.
