Germany and Ukraine have signed a cooperation agreement on army digitization, according to information from Kyiv.

The agreement, effective from 2026 to 2028, will fund three IT projects for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday.

Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Oksana Vereshchuk described the agreement as “a sign that support for digitizing the armed forces is increasing.”

The funding will go towards expanding the Delta program, a battlefield management system designed to give staff officers greater oversight in complex combat situations.

The ministry said the funding will also support the Army+ and Reserve+ applications, which are used for internal military administration.
