During the first industrial and investment forum held in Moscow on October 8, 2025, representatives from the Russian capital and the United Arab Emirates discussed the development of special economic zones.

The “Technopolis Moscow” model was the focal point as a successful example of the city’s efforts to support advanced technological industries, with this special economic zone being a leader in industrial development and innovation in the capital.

In this context, Anatoly Garbovich, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department, said:

“Under the guidance of the Mayor of Moscow, we are systematically building partnerships with friendly countries to exchange best practices in developing industrial infrastructure and attracting investments. ‘Technopolis Moscow’ is not only a local leader but is gradually becoming an internationally recognized brand.”

On his part, Khaled Al Marzouqi, Vice President of the Abu Dhabi Free Economic Zone, expressed the UAE’s interest in expanding cooperation with Moscow’s industrial zones, stating:

“We are honored to cooperate with the special economic zones in Moscow, where we have established close relations with many of them, just as we do with the technology parks. Moscow can fully trust us regarding attracting investors, business growth, and company dynamics. We are currently working to facilitate all possible means of information exchange because we believe that the success of this cooperation requires active participation from both sides.”

“Technopolis Moscow” hosted this forum as a unique platform aimed at enhancing communication between industrial companies in the capital and investors from Russia and friendly countries, supporting Moscow’s ambition to become a global industrial and investment hub.
