Dubai: “Al Khaleej”
The United Arab Emirates will host the 3rd Scientific Conference of the Arab Resuscitation Council from October 16 to 18, with participation from 22 Arab countries, 50 Arab medical institutions and associations, and specialized international organizations in the fields of resuscitation, emergency medicine, ambulance services, and medical education.
The hosting of the conference in the UAE reflects the country’s leading and vital role in various medical fields and its regional and global distinction in organizing and hosting major scientific events, as it seeks unlimited development benefiting humanity, considering health for all and through all.
The conference will discuss the latest global practices and updates in the science of resuscitation and emergency care, as well as exchange experiences and expertise.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Qabroun, a cardiology consultant, founding member and secretary of the Arab Resuscitation Council, and chairman of the third conference, announced the launch of the 3rd Scientific Conference of the Arab Resuscitation Council. He noted that the conference hosts a group of experts and practitioners in resuscitation fields and offers a rich scientific and training program reflecting the development of this vital field in the Arab region.
Al-Qabroun emphasized the importance of this scientific conference in enhancing, supporting, and spreading the knowledge and skills of resuscitation and first aid in the Arab region, based on regional and international scientific data and studies supported by evidence according to the latest applied sciences in the field of resuscitation.
Meanwhile, Dr. Wael Al-Mohamid, a cardiology consultant and advisor to the Arab Resuscitation Council, announced the launch of the first scientific research grant in the field of resuscitation to encourage scientific research in all Arab countries in 2025.
He mentioned that a grant of 50,000 UAE dirhams will be awarded to winners to encourage scientific research across the Arab countries in the field of resuscitation.
