The Professional Government Excellence System Assessor Program constitutes a strategic support to the UAE government’s directions in building a generation of specialized national competencies in government excellence by developing their skills, refining their expertise, and enriching their knowledge. This enables them to spread the culture of excellence in their workplaces, either through evaluation tasks or by providing consultations based on the Government Excellence System standards, in addition to contributing to enabling government entities to achieve advanced institutional results that reflect the country’s aspirations.

The program covered several axes within its training stages; the first stage, “Introduction to Government Excellence,” provided a comprehensive perspective on the concept of excellence, its basic principles, and its role in achieving a qualitative shift in the effectiveness and efficiency of government services. It also introduced participants to the national agenda, models and strategies of institutional excellence, and the methodology for evaluating the Government Excellence System.

In the second stage, “Government Excellence System,” participants were introduced to the UAE Government Excellence System, its axes, standards, and application mechanisms.
